Today I am thankful for Naptime! And I’m so thankful that my girls still take them.
Really, does anything more need to be said?
This is my first attempt at a blog challenge, something you might see friends doing on Facebook – “__ days of Giving Thanks.” I thought this was a very fitting challenge to get myself back into a regular habit of blogging again. Feel free to join me, and post your own blog link in the comments below, so we can keep up with each other! Follow others that are participating HERE.

I have not said this on any of the Gratitude link ups, but I must say it here…
I am so TOTALLY jealous! My kids never napped! Yes, you heard me right. No naps! To keep the kids out of daycare, I worked weekend nights, and my husband worked week days. I came home Monday morning from work craving a nap that I knew I would not get until DH came home near 6:30 PM. We did make it through; however, I would still LOVE a nap… 🙂
Oh I completely understand! I think I need the naptime more the kids ever do. My oldest had trained herself out of naps, but I put her in a preschool when we first moved back here, and they got her re-trained very quickly! (My youngest LOVES to nap. She’s wierd, LOL.) Recently they started to fight me on it, but I explained how if Mommy didn’t get HER nap, then Mommy would be cranky. And NO ONE likes it when Mommy is cranky! They are now quite happy to be quiet long enough for me to nap, LOL. (I also set an alarm in their room and they are not allowed to get up until it goes off. Keeps me from being the bad guy. 🙂 )
But I really sympathize with sleep deprivation. My youngest had her days/nights mixed up until she was about 2. I about died!
